Rationale
Business etiquette and cross cultural sensitisation - how to conduct oneself when travelling, working and interacting with colleagues and others abroad - are major issues facing all companies today whose executives operate internationally. Dealing with these changes is all about adapting to new ways and new ideas as well as examining new approaches to already familiar practices. There are many differences, nuances even, between the way individuals and groups around the world work and socialize and the executive travelling abroad needs to be informed about those differences.
Workshop Delivery
There will be interactive sessions with the following: telephone conversation; face-to-face interaction; social and work environments .
Who should attend?
Anyone who is working with foreign-based customers either through electronic/telephonic communication or through personal interaction here in India or on site abroad will benefit from knowledge that provides an insight into others' working practices as well as thought patterns, means of communication and cultural nuances. Participants in this program will have an advantage in being equipped to deal with situations and people that they would have had no prior exposure to before. |
